Data is taken from AMQ
Anything available natively in expand is up to date to the last time the page was updated (as of now, 27/05/2025) :
However, for anything else, it is only collected once a month, so it may be slightly outdated (i.e last update minus at most a month) :
Data limitations
Regarding the “Number of songs per year” chart, the data is not completely accurate because AMQ tracks the year of the anime, not the individual songs. This means that if an anime has multiple songs released in different years (cf. long-running shows), they will all be counted under the year of the anime’s release.
About the source code
The source code and the time this page was last updated is available in this github repository. The code won’t be useful anyway because you don’t have the data :shrug:
